Shannon Kennealey received a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and a Master’s in Child Development from the Erikson Institute. Her Master's thesis focused on the role of attachment on childhood development ages 0-3 years. She completed her post graduate training at the Denver Family Institute for Marriage and Family Therapy. Shannon has spent the last 19 years of her career working with individuals and families to help them reach their full potential and live a more peaceful, joyful, loving, happy, and successful life. In addition to her love of psychology and counseling, Shannon is a lifelong student of spirituality. She has studied mindfulness with Thich Nhat Hanh and regularly studies and practices the works on consciousness by David R. Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D. and Eckhart Tolle. She is committed to a daily practice of mindfulness and meditation. Shannon enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, hiking and camping the Colorado Rockies, and snuggling with her two goofy dogs.
